2020 Bacchus Cabernet Sauvignon
Intensely aromatic, with enticing violet, jasmine, currant and raspberry nuances. A texture of pure silk layered with ripe flavors of wild berry and red and black currants. Mineral accents of crushed seashells lend focus in a lingering finish. A unique Cabernet Sauvignon of exceptional elegance.
This single-barrel bottling comes from one of the oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards on the West Coast. Planted in 1972, the Bacchus Vineyard Block 10 Cabernet Sauvignon yields wines of remarkable distinctiveness and purity. The mouthfeel is unusually graceful and silky, reminiscent of a classic Côte de Nuits Pinot Noir more than typical West Coast Cabernet Sauvignon.
