Launching a new winery is anything but a solo endeavor. We needed many helping hands, the generosity of new friends and the unwavering support of family to bring Foolhardy to life.

Winemakers

Many talented and, dare we say, indulgent winemakers provided essential guidance and encouragement:

Karen Culler (Culler, Wolf Family, Rivera, Ladera, Vichon). The unflappable Karen, one of the most talented winemakers we've had the honor to call our friend.

There is no quality wine without quality fruit. We are fortunate to work with some of the best farmers in Washington State:

Design

Wine lovers often say “the truth is in the bottle." While true, it is the packaging that makes the first impression on the consumer. We were fortunate to work with Polygraphe, a terrific boutique design firm in Montreal, to develop our labels and brand identity, and their gifted professionals Marie-Claude Fortin and Sébastien Bisson.

Supporters

Without friends and supporters to drink our wine there would be no Foolhardy. When we released our first vintage on April 1, 2019, 150+ friends and family said “what-the-hell,” took a true leap of faith and bought our wines without tasting a drop. These people are forever Friends of Foolhardy.
