The 2022 Foolhardy Chardonnay
Our inaugural Chardonnay from the Evergreen Vineyard has concentrated, vibrant fruit and creamy flavors that make it remarkably flexible with food. Serves up an array of lemon oil, peach and pineapple tones that continue to gently uncoil hours after opening. Beautifully integrated oak adds a creamy, lemon curd richness and texture, with chalky mineral undertones framing deft, fresh fruit.
Pairing Suggestions: Roasted and sauteed fish. Poultry and pork dishes. Cheese.
Serving: Serve cool, not cold. Evolves beautifully with air and time in the glass.

Evergreen Vineyard:
It took us five years to find the right white wine vineyard--one that delivers the mouthwatering combination of fruit intensity, vibrant acidity and minerality we prize in our favorite whites from France and Germany--but we've got it in Evergreen Vineyard. What makes this site so unusual for Washington State and, indeed, the entire US West Coast, is the high proportion of limestone in the soil. Many factors make for a quality white grape vineyard, but relatively cool growing conditions and limestone-rich soils are a terrific starting point.
